This role offers an excellent balance of analysis, design, coordination, and field involvement. Key responsibilities include:
- Participating in project kick-off meetings, planning, and technical coordination
- Performing structural analyses and design checks
- Designing building structures, primarily in steel and concrete, as well as specialized structures related to telecommunications and energy infrastructure
- Designing and reviewing foundations
- Preparing structural engineering reports
- Coordinating drawing production with drafters and ensuring the quality of project deliverables
- Participating in construction site reviews and field services
- Depending on your interests, participating in field surveys and inspections of elevated and specialized structures

Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Building Engineering, or Construction Engineering with a specialization in Structural Engineering
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering (an asset)
- Licensed Professional Engineer and member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ)
- ASP Construction certification
- Approximately five years of relevant experience (flexible depending on the candidate profile)
- Strong working knowledge of ETABS, SAP2000, and SAFE
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in French

Preferred Assets
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering
- Consulting engineering experience in Québec
- SPRAT, working-at-heights, or tower rescue certifications
- Interest in fieldwork and specialized structures
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
