DPHV Renews Its Commitment to the Fondation du Collège Montmorency

Last updated:3 August

At DPHV, we are proud to support students in the Civil Engineering Technology program at Collège Montmorency through the Fondation du Collège Montmorency’s Entreprise de cœur program.

Since 2022, our firm has been actively involved in supporting the next generation of civil engineering professionals through donations to the Foundation. These contributions help fund sponsorship scholarships awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in the Steel Structures course. Since 2024, DPHV has also sponsored the Merit Award, which recognizes a graduating student who has distinguished themselves throughout their academic journey in civil engineering.

Our commitment extends beyond financial support. We also organize technical seminars for students, providing valuable exposure to the realities of professional engineering practice.

Encouraging the next generation and recognizing academic excellence is a source of great pride for our team. Year after year, these interactions allow us to meet passionate, curious, and inspiring future professionals who represent the future of our industry.

« At DPHV, supporting and developing the next generation is an integral part of our DNA. We are a team of passionate professionals and, for more than thirty years, we have been committed to sharing our passion for structural engineering with the young people we encounter along the way. We believe that emerging talent is the future of our society and that their success is essential to the long-term sustainability of our industry. That is why we are proud to support the Fondation du Collège Montmorency and to award this sponsorship scholarship to not one, but two outstanding students this year. »

– Martin Frappier, President, DPHV

Connecting with tomorrow’s talent creates a natural synergy. It provides a unique opportunity to share our expertise, contribute to the development of a strong and capable workforce, and ultimately grow our own team so that we can continue delivering comprehensive, high-quality engineering services.

It is also a meaningful way to foster constructive exchanges between academia and engineering professionals, benefiting the entire community.

« I was fortunate to receive a scholarship from DPHV at the end of my studies at Collège Montmorency. This scholarship encouraged me to continue my education at the university level, and I am extremely grateful for the support it provided. I have also had the opportunity to work with the DPHV team over the past few weeks, and I have already learned a tremendous amount from my colleagues. » – Mia Ross, Merit Award Recipient

Remise bourse mérite 1

Translated from French.

« For me, the scholarship awarded by DPHV as part of the Steel Structures course project led by Patrice Caron motivated me to devote even more time and effort to the project. I have been fortunate not to depend on scholarships during my studies, but receiving recognition for the time invested in a project is incredibly rewarding. The scholarship I received for achieving the highest academic standing in my graduating class is a tremendous honour, especially because it comes from DPHV, a company with which I had already completed two internships. It represents the ultimate recognition of all the time and dedication I invested in my coursework and studies throughout college. » – Alexis Ouellet, Merit Award Recipient
