Project Description
As part of the major construction program for the McInnis Cement Plant in Port-Daniel, DPHV was retained to assess and rehabilitate deficient connections within the facility’s two marine ship-loading towers. Located in a harsh marine environment, these critical structures required specialized engineering solutions to restore their structural integrity and ensure long-term performance.
Description of Services Provided
- Assessment and analysis of connection details based on as-built site conditions;
- Preparation of a structural engineering assessment report;
- Preliminary design and preparation of drawings for the required remedial work;
- Construction support and follow-up throughout the implementation of corrective measures.
