PROJECT DESCRIPTION
- The new mill was constructed by reusing, where possible, the foundations of the former facility that was destroyed by fire. The very large building is supported by a long-span structural system designed to carry all installed equipment. The integration of an internal rail line built on slab required the use of transfer girders to accommodate the loads imposed by this system.
DESCRIPTION OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED
- Development of concepts and preliminary design studies;
- Structural design and preparation of construction drawings;
- Review of shop drawings;
- Construction site supervision.
